We will be covering end of life topics such as will writing, estate planning, advanced care planning, and death doula services. No registration needed, costs nothing to attend. Hope to see you!

January is an opportunity to look back at where you’ve come from and forward to where you’re going.
We will offer a safe container for reflection on life’s darkness whilst look towards the light. Loss and grief are part of the dynamic of life experience— we aim to facilitate a workshop in which we can journey to meet, greet, and welcome these events without judgement.

About the organisers:
Ali Woozley has worked as a midwife for 30 years, holding space for women and families in joy and sorrow. Ali teaches pregnancy yoga, women’s health workshops and talking circles through a trauma-sensitive lens.
Emily Cross is a death doula and musician, running her end of life resources and meditation Center, Steady Waves Center for Contemplation in Abbotsbury, Dorset.
While this workshop may indeed provide feelings of peace and healing, it is not a group counselling or therapy session. Emily And Ali are not mental health professionals, nor will they provide mental health or medical advice. This event is completely invitational, meaning participants can choose to partake or not partake in any aspect of the workshop without judgement.

Join us for an evening of sound, featuring Simon McCorry. Born in London to mixed Indian/British heritage, McCorry studied music at The Centre for Young Musicians and Morley College and then philosophy at Durham University. Now based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, he has worked as a composer & sound designer in theatre, film & contemporary dance. Recent work is a combination of loop based cello compositions and atmospheric improvisations, field recordings and modular synth.
