Yes, it’s hot!
The weeks are just walking straight on past us. Here’s a tapestry thing I’m making for our house, to hang on the wall.
Had a very nice Oolong on one of my favorite parts of the beach yesterday. I call it ‘grapeskin beach’ because of the color of the rocks.

ZZ is 2 today!
We are back home, now. Our trip to Dorset was pretty dramatic. A fox killed all of the chickens and ducks (except one). Freyja rolled in a ton of fox poop (twice). And a handful of other tricky occurances.
The weather has really perked up and it’s finally warm! I will enjoy it. I’ve just hung the laundry out to dry.
Tonight we will go up the road to a little campsite overlooking the sea to celebrate Z’s birthday. We’ll have corn on the cob, veggie burgers, and I hope some chocolate :-)
House sitting in Dorset this week.
We stumbled upon a vegan festival, Z went down a hill on a skateboard, bounced in her first bouncy castle, and we had a falafel.
Pinto is misbehaving.
It’s cold and we have the fire lit!

Well November has come and gone, and today begins December. The ‘CRUSH ME’ lyric books came in the mail..I feel pretty happy with them. I’ve got to somehow find time to film 2 music videos, edit behind the scenes footage and some other odd jobs surrounding the record. Surely the time is there somewhere?
It snowed one morning, and I had my birthday tea in the woods. Z has begun eating solid foods, it’s a mess.
I was losing a lot of hair due to being postpartum, so I shaved it all off. It’s far less annoying this way.. I was getting sick of vaccuming more than usual.
Had tea on the beach one morning.
Dad came to visit, but we all had the flu and cold, even ZZ, which was sad. Her little cough made my heart break, and I could barely handle her having a fever. We’re all feeling a lot better now.
I finished a quilt.
I would write more but I didn’t give myself enough time and now I have to go.
I think pasta for dinner tonight!

I went back to the sauna yesterday for the first time since I got pregnant. I went with my new friend Elena. We got slapped by birch leaves! The smell of the sauna, the hot wood, the birch, the sea air- it’s all so pleasing. We saw a naked man get into the sea. Elena brought me mushrooms later on in the day.
I’ve been going on walks with Z and Frey, just through the village. We saw this little dog in the car parked outside of the graveyard. It didn’t bark at us, just looked at us. I think it was a terrier x chihuahua?
It’s Friday and I don’t feel very well. I think I might have the stomach flu. Shame, because it’s sunny outside today.
