About Me

I am often asked why I chose to walk down this path of ‘death work.’ For me, it has felt like a natural pull towards a world of caring, advocacy, devotion, and mystery. I feel incredibly fulfilled when I am serving others in this way-- and I feel a deep longing to build a close relationship with death and the fogginess waiting beyond it. Being surrounded by the reality of mortality
has affected my life in a profound way; I do what I want.

I am passionate about sharing skills and information with those who experience difficulty accessing it, and strive to approach each inquiry with time and care. I operate on a donations-only basis to ensure this access for all, and am able to do so only because I am employed as a funeral arranger.

I love to pull from my background in art and music within my role as a death doula. From facilitating live music at bedside to crafting legacy videos, creating visual art works and beautiful ceremonies to assembling photo books or unique sound pieces..it’s truly my honor to offer my gifts to and collaborate with those at the end of life. I also enjoy altering physical spaces to better accomodate the particular sensitivities those at the end of life commonly experience.

I spend my free time with my family, quilting, walking in nature, swimming in the sea, drawing, drinking tea and doing chores!
